For one of our clients, we are looking for a Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Real-World Evidence Generation, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) strategies to support product development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Clinical Development to ensure that the research aligns with corporate goals. This position requires experience in designing and implementing studies, analyzing data, and leading the creation of communication and publication materials. You will also manage external research vendors and consultants to deliver results that support key company objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement HEOR and RWE research strategies to support product development and market access.
  • Design and lead a variety of research projects, including burden of illness studies, economic analysis, and systematic literature reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination of activities and timely deliverables.
  • Provide input into clinical development programs and clinical trial protocols as needed.
  • Lead the execution of publication plans and communication strategies for HEOR and RWE findings.
  • Manage external vendors and consultants to execute research using appropriate scientific methodologies.



Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative life sciences field; PhD strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in HEOR, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hematology and oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in analytic methodologies, scientific data interpretation, and modeling.
  • Experience in the US HEOR market required; global experience is a plus.
  • HTA experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a matrix environment.
