The Role:
Moderna Services, Inc. seeks a Manager, Real-World Evidence Analytics for its Princeton, New Jersey location.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with stakeholders in the real-world evidence community including Medical Affairs, Health Economic and Outcome Research, Epidemiology, Clinical and real-world evidence (“RWE”) analytics team members on real world evidence generation to evaluate drug effectiveness and to generate disease insights.
Serve as the real-world data (“RWD”) expert in various data sources including claims, electronic health records, and registries.
Conduct data feasibility assessment, exploratory analysis, and data visualization using advanced programming skills in standard statistical software R, RShiny, Python, and/or SAS and database programming language such as SQL.
Create analysis datasets, generate summary report, and contribute to the development of protocol and statistical analysis plan.
Implement planned statistical analyses, interpret findings, and contribute to dissemination/publications in real-world evidence generation studies.
Collaborate with digital team on real-world data infrastructure development and analytical tools.
Implement appropriate analytical methods including statistical models and/or machine learning models to align with overall business objectives.
Use Git/GitHub and BitBucket for collaboration and versioning of operational, robust, and well documented code.
Apply knowledge of clinical development and industry standards in clinical programming to ensure quality and consistency of analytics deliverables.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Minimum requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Clinical Data Scientist, Biostatistician, Statistical Programmer or related position supporting clinical development and real-world evidence studies within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Must have 4 years of experience with:
Statistical data analysis (survival analysis, linear model, generalized linear model, categorical data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and descriptive analysis) and machine learning models (logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting);
Programming in R, RShiny, Python, SAS and SQL;
Real-world data including claims, electronic health records, registries, and clinical trial data including patient reported outcome;
Git/GitHub and BitBucket;
Industry standards in clinical programming including study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM), Analysis Data Model (ADaM) and Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) guidelines.
May telecommute up to 2 days per week
